Donna Oefinger - Aka Donna Mation
Owner of Center Space Studio in SE Portland Oregon, teaches Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, Samba, House, Hip Hop, Hustle, Popping and Afro-Cuban Hip Hop. Donna has been a professional dance instructor and choreographer since 1999. As a teacher, Donna is known for her enthusiasm, passion, and the respect she has for the origin of these dances. Her classes are a work out and challenge people of all levels of experience. As an artist she inspires and supports her students to further embody movement, not just imitate form. Donna has performed in a handful of groups as a dancer, director and percussionist since 1999 including Up Jump, Jujuba, The Lions of Batucada, Urban Ritual, and her group Axé Didé music and Dance Company. As the artistic director of Axé Didé Donna masterfully combines rhythms and dances mainly from Cuba and Brazil but also from the diverse lineages of the African Diaspora.

Javier Solis - Aka Gemini
Internationally recognized Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Instructor, and Promoter, Javier Solis, is from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. He founded the Portland Salsa Congress in 2005. It has since developed into the premier competitive Salsa Congress in the Pacific Northwest.
Gemini has traveled worldwide as a professional instructor or performer. As an instructor his creativity and keen eye for picking up details, assist him, his partners and dance team, in producing complex, energetic and exciting choreography.

Bruce Smith
Bruce’s love for music and dance is an extension of his family environment growing up. He is a former member of the Nationally known R&B recording group “Pleasure". He was the Founder, Artistic Director and Choreographer of the International Touring Dance Company, NW African American Ballet. Bruce was on the curriculum writing team for the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. In 1983, he created the African dance curriculum for Jefferson High School Performing Arts department and taught that curriculum at Jefferson for 15 years. These experiences lead to him teaching Zumba with an African flair! Bruce has been teaching Zumba since 2012.

Todd Jackson
Todd Jackson helps students experience inner-body integration. His teaching guides students to balance the sensations of weight distribution, directional movement and tissue resiliency within. In addition to public yoga classes, Todd offers yoga teacher training via advanced studies in yoga sequencing, how to see and understand bodies, and detailed inversion practices. Todd is known for his sequencing skills, sophisticated hands-on adjustments and friendly humor. Todd graduated from the Advanced Studies Program at The Yoga Room in Berkeley, and has presented over 7,000 hours of innovative classes, workshops, retreats and advanced studies courses since 1997.

Pedro Cruz
Mestre Pedro Cruz 'Cachorro' hails from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, where he was born and raised. In 2001, Pedro Cruz moved to Portland, Oregon and immediately created the first American outpost of Capoeira Sao Salvador-PDX. Since then, he has taught at many well established studios and universities including Reed College where he still teaches. Pedro instruction is in high demand and travels often to teach at Capoeira events throughout the US and Brazil where he connects with other Capoeira communities and teachers by participating in belt graduations, tournaments and music festivals.
